Romans 8:37-39 But in all these troubles we have complete victory through God, who has shown his love for us. Yes, I am sure that nothing can separate us from God’s love—not death, life, angels, or ruling spirits. I am sure that nothing now, nothing in the future, no powers, nothing above us or nothing below us—nothing in the whole created world—will ever be able to separate us from the love God has shown us in Christ Jesus our Lord.

When you’re facing some sort of adversity in your life, the idea that you can have victory over it, the idea that you can overcome it, not some time in the future, but right there, while you’re in the midst of it, is not an easy one to wrap your heart around.

There’s no doubt that a great part of living life is overcoming adversity. It comes in all different shapes and sizes. The adversity that you’ve faced in your life is no doubt different to mine, but adversity is adversity.

Day after day we run into obstacles, irritations, conflict – all sorts of things that we need to get through.

The Apostle Paul had more than his fair share of adversity; shipwreck and famine, riots and floggings, assassination attempts … you name it, he faced it. And yet he is able to write this:

Romans 8:37-39 But in all these troubles we have complete victory through God, who has shown his love for us. Yes, I am sure that nothing can separate us from God’s love—not death, life, angels, or ruling spirits. I am sure that nothing now, nothing in the future, no powers, nothing above us or nothing below us—nothing in the whole created world—will ever be able to separate us from the love God has shown us in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Not just victory, mind you, but complete victory. He doesn’t just feel as though he’s conquered these things, but more than conquered them. Why? How? Because nothing – absolutely nothing that he’s faced, nothing that he can possibly imagine that he will face one day – is going to be able to separate him from the amazing love that God has shown us in Jesus Christ.

Whatever you’re facing, remember that. Nothing will ever be able to separate you from God’s love. And that right there isn’t just victory. It’s complete victory.

That’s God’s Word. Fresh … for you … today.

Hi Robyn,

Amazing what technology can do….but even more amazing is what the Lord has done and continues to do!

Psalm 34:3 New King James Version (NKJV)

Oh, magnify the Lord with me,
And let us exalt His name together!

Hi Barbara,

Indeed our God is faithful….

Berni has written a life application booklet on “Taking God at His word”

It’s a powerful booklet and I know it will bless you. Make sure you grab a copy!

I leave you with this verse from Jeremiah 33:3

New King James Version (NKJV)
‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’

Robyn

Thank you so very much for your ministry.
I particularly slur it right now when I’m needing encouragement to get through a difficult time.
It feels wonderfully secure to know that you are there.
We are so blessed to be able to fellowship on our phones in this way.
Thanks again

Thank you for all the encouraging words you always send me… everyday I look forward to reading your message.

What I love most is how you relate it to our daily life.

It’s so ease to understand the scriptures in the simplicity of how you explain it.

Thank you.

Thanks so very much for your ministry to me and to all of us.

It’s of great help, support and encouragement.

The teachings are wonderful. God greatly bless you and your family and ministry!

Barbara

I’m glad to have this victory, I say it all the time, “I plead the blood” and I know no matter what I’m facing God says He’ll never leave or forsaken me.

I’m facing some challenges right now but I’m trusting in him and holding on to his unchanging hands.

Lynette patrick
