Mark 11:24 So I tell you to ask for what you want in prayer. And if you believe that you have received those things, then they will be yours.

All too often, prayer is something that we deploy into a difficult situation, as a matter of last resort. But that’s never how it was meant to be.

Have ever you noticed how some people in your life are absolutely impossible? You look at them and think to yourself, that person could never, ever become a Christian. They’d never believe in Jesus. Absolutely impossible!

I used to be one of those people. Tough. Brutal. Materialistic. Pig-headed. Absolutely impossible! Any sane person would have taken one look at me and come to the conclusion that not even God would have been able to soften my heart.

And yet He did, to the point where I completely gave my life over to Him. To the point where, these days, I’m involved full-time in a ministry to share His love, grace, peace and power, the good news of Jesus – with you and countless others around the globe.

The obvious question then, is how did that happen? What made the difference?

After I’d given my life to Christ, I discovered that this one couple – a husband and wife – had been praying for me for eighteen years. Eighteen years they’d been praying against the absolute impossible. And through their prayer, God did the impossible.

Mark 11:24 So I tell you to ask for what you want in prayer. And if you believe that you have received those things, then they will be yours.

And so here I am today, chatting with you, living out a destiny that from any human standpoint, should have been completely impossible.

If you can do nothing else for some tough nut, other than pray for them to come to faith in Jesus, then that’s absolutely the single, most powerful thing that you can ever do.

That’s God’s Word. Fresh … for you … today.

What a wonderful message of hope for me. I have been praying for those that are not saved with hardened hearts, my children and grandchildren for 25 years. Thankyou Berni for your encouragement and fueling my faith. Blessings, at 8 every morning I look for your message and know it will touch many hearts
