Might I ask you again today, if you believe in Jesus, if you believe that He is the Son of God, how comfortable do you feel sharing that ostensibly good news, with others?

When I was growing up – there were three things that it was considered impolite to talk about – sex, politics and religion. And still today, some people think that it’s impolite to talk about their faith in Jesus.

But these days too, there’s a spiritual hunger for something … something authentic, something that works. Because most people somehow, deep down inside, somewhere, know that there’s something missing.

I used to be intensely embarrassed talking about my faith. But you know, here’s the thing – I live my life for Jesus. That’s my decision. He is my all in all. He is so much a part of who I am. And that’s just who I am, not perfect mind you, but that’s me.

So these days, I just naturally am who I am. That doesn’t mean I have to shove anything down anybody’s throat. But when people ask me how it is that I’m so enthusiastic and positive and excited about the things I’m involved in … I just tell them.

In my own way. Just the way I am.

1 John 4:15 If someone says, “I believe that Jesus is the Son of God,” then God lives in them, and they live in God.

Is that what you say? “I believe that Jesus is the Son of God?” Well in that case, God lives in you and you in Him. And under those circumstances, it seems to me to be the most natural thing in the world, to share that good news with others, when the opportunity presents itself.

I mean, if it’s good news, then it’s worth sharing, isn’t it?

That’s God’s Word. Fresh … for you … today.

It doesn’t take much to sow the seed. I met a man I hadn’t seen in 40 years twice within a week He knew me in my drinking days,he asked me in for a pint as he was outside a pub All I said was, “I don’t drink anymore, I have the LORD in my life now,” and smiled said “I great seeing you again.” That’s all I said. Three weeks later I was standing outside a shop with my wife and this car pulled up and this same fella came running over to us and said “I have to tell you,I gave my life to the LORD, I know you’ll want to knows this.” I was delighted to hear this but what he saw in me that was so different, I’ll never know but GOD will. I love the LORD with all my heart. He brings people to himself in ways I’ll never know. I did nothing in the two day I met him but the LORD had plans for Sandy. Great GOD we have. Thank you LORD for just being in my life. Amen.
