Download audio fileTo tell you the truth, I’ve stopped watching the evening news on the television. It’s just too depressing. You get to the end and you wonder, where’s this all headed?
With all that’s going on in the world, the terrible things that we see on the news each night, all that stuff out there that’s so far out of our control, it’s easy to become despondent about it all. It’s as though the world’s heading to hell in a handbag, and there’s nothing that you and I can do about it.
Where is this world headed? How can I make a difference? How can my faith stay strong? How’s it all going to end?
They’re the questions that rattle around inside as we feel that growing sense of despondency. So … what’s the answer?
Simply this: Jesus is still on His throne. And one day, He will bring all these things to an end. A glorious end, as only He can.
