The more you get to know people, the more you see that everyone has their challenges. And the idea of facing the year ahead, in some sense alone, is a somewhat bleak prospect.
Sure, many of us aren’t alone. I have a beautiful wife who loves me beyond words. Some are in similar positions, others aren’t. But deep down inside where you think, where you feel, where you live, there’s still a hole that for many hasn’t been filled.
It’s been said that it’s a God-sized hole, a tiny void that’s yet infinitely large, that only He can fill. And the good news, the sensational news, is that He wants to fill it, to complete you, to make you whole in a way that only He can. Said Jesus …

But this isn’t for everyone … I get that. It’s only for those who choose to follow Jesus, to obey Him, to turn from the bad stuff in their lives. And upon that person, He will pour out His Spirit; He will fill that God-sized hole; He will make them complete as only He can.
