Download audio fileKindness is one of the most powerful change agents on earth. Even the smallest act of kindness can transform someone’s day. And like a pebble cast into a pond, it ripples out beyond anything we can imagine.
There’s a busy road that I drive on frequently. It’s tough for cars from the many side streets to turn in when the traffic’s bumper to bumper.
So on the first side street, I’ll always allow one car in. Then I watch that car. And I tell you, that driver always – always – allows at least two more cars into the traffic flow. And how do you think those two will react? You guessed it, they’ll let others in as well. All from just one simple act of kindness. What a buzz!
Now, we don’t always feel kind, but God’s already given us the power to be kind.
