Do you mind if I ask you today, have you ever felt broken? Have you ever had this sense that something’s not right; that you just don’t have what it takes to deal with all the stuff that life’s throwing at you anymore?

We don’t talk about it too much … but more and more, my newsfeeds are filled with articles like “Thirteen Ways to Wake Up with More Energy” or “These Quick, Simple Things Can Boost Your Health, Happiness and Wellbeing” or “I Lie to My Therapist – I’m Not the Only One”.

They all sound different, but actually, they speak into the same root issue – the sense that things aren’t quite right; that we’re living a sub-par life; that somehow, we’re broken.

And truly, they’re just grasping at straws. Sure, you need to get the basics sorted – a healthy diet, moderate exercise, a good night’s sleep, healthy relationships. Absolutely.

But at the end of the day, there’s only one way to turn brokenness into blessing.

Jeremiah 17:14 LORD, if you heal me, I surely will be healed. Save me, and I surely will be saved. Lord, I praise you!

God is the only One who can truly heal you on the inside; who can fill you with His glory, overwhelm you with His love, heal you by His Spirit and give you all that you need not just to survive but to thrive, no matter what this life throws at you.

Because when He heals you, you will surely be healed. When He saves you, you will surely be saved.

That’s His Word. Fresh … for you … today.
