September Prayer Focus

Sadly, not all will listen to Him. Not all will receive Jesus as their Saviour. And yet there are countless people whom He has predestined to spend eternity with Him through Jesus (Romans 8:29,30) who haven’t yet heard the Good News!

Knowing God’s heart, have you ever considered that when you pray for the lost, you’re joining hands with Him for His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven?

Wow, what an incredible privilege – joining hands with God!!!

That’s why I would so love for you to pray with us this month, for countless more to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus!

So here are some specific prayer points for you to bring before the Lord throughout September:

• • • Prayer earnestly that the Lord our God would touch the hearts of the lost and the hurting as we continue, day in and day out, to proclaim Christ to the nations through the media. Ask Him to soften and open the hearts of those whom He would draw unto Himself, that millions would come – one by one – would be saved by His grace by placing their faith in Jesus, through the ministry of Christianityworks.

    • Give thanks for the amazing ministry of Tenkir Teni in Addis Ababa as he translates, contextualises and broadcasts Christianityworks’ daily Fresh messages in the main language of Ethiopia – Amharic – right across the country and beyond into Eritrea and parts of the Middle East. Give thanks especially for the Telegram messaging broadcast, which is growing in leaps and bounds.

    • Pray for the United Christian Broadcasting sister networks – Radio Pulpit in South Africa, Vision Christian Radio in Australia, Rhema Media in New Zealand and UCB UK in the United Kingdom as they broadcast many of Christianityworks’ programs daily around the globe. Ask the Lord to bless them without measure as, in partnership with Christianityworks, they share the good news of Jesus with their respective audiences.

    • Give thanks for Africa Director Joseph Kebbie who in his recent tour across Africa was able to train many Christian radio stations and meet with our broadcast partners to encourage them and to grow our relationships with them. In particular lift your hands in praise and give thanks that Joseph has been granted a “Green Card” in the US, so that he can be once more with his beloved wife Genevieve and daughter Fadia. This has been a huge blessing and answer to prayer. .

    • Pray for our Bible teacher and ceo Berni Dymet who’s 93 year old mother, Lotte, went home to be with the Lord last month. May the Lord comfort him and give he and his wife Jacqui rest, as they take a much needed break from the ministry to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary.

    • Give thanks for the many doors that are opening for Christianityworks’ Chinese ministry. Whilst it’s not something that we can talk about in detail, we can be absolutely certain that the Lord is across all the detail. Ask Him to continue to bless the ministry and to provide for it to reach many, many Mandarin speakers around the world with His rich and powerful Word.

    • And please, continue to pray the prayer of Jabez (1 Chronicles 4:10) again and again over Christianityworks …
      Oh Lord, that you would bless us indeed … with Your supernatural blessings, far beyond our expectations and natural abilities.
      
      That you would enlarge our territory … giving us more capacity, reach and impact, that more lives would be saved + transformed.
      
      That your mighty hand would be with us … so we would be wholly dependent on you, on your touch of greatness, not on ourselves.
      That you would keep us from evil that we would cause no pain … so that in holiness + love in all that we do, the name of Jesus would be glorified.
