Download audio fileHow much do you dream about the future; what it might look like, what God might be up to? Or are you simply too busy with the things of today to spend precious time daydreaming?
I was reading a book recently by a well-known social researcher who’d conducted workshops with a lot of ordinary people like you and me to discover what people were thinking; where society was headed.
And surprisingly, he concluded that somewhere in the last few years we’d stopped dreaming. We’d stopped having hopes for the future. Why? Well, his answer went something like this:
Because we’re so wrapped up in our culture of consumption, we don’t need to dream anymore. We’re so busy trying to be filled, gratified and entertained today that we don’t have time to imagine tomorrow.
But what if God created us to dream? What if dreaming’s an intrinsic part of our makeup? What if, in thinking and dreaming about the future, God wants to draw our hearts into His mighty plans? What if …

What if, in dreaming about the future, we lay hold of God’s abundant blessing to enable us to bless this world with “every good work”? What if God has these amazing plans to work through who He made you to be, so that through you He could bless others abundantly?
When we dream, we open up doors and possibilities that we never thought possible – because in Him all things are possible.
Listen. A person without dreams is like a world without colour.
A heart without dreams is like a child without a future.
That’s God’s Word. Fresh … for you … today.

Thanks for your word for today .
I just wake up each morning thinking 🤔 ! What problems are we going to have to deal with today .
Oh let’s get back into that dream !! and be happy and content with what we’ve got !
With Jesus Christ as our Saviour , what’s the point of worrying !!
I pray for those who are in pain or hungry this day !! They must wonder where Jesus is !! But He also suffered and died in pain for our Sins !
Give us this day our daily bread 🍞 to sustain us .
Keep us believing in this truth I pray ! Told us in God’s Word !!
Amen 🙏 .
