Hebrews 12:1 We have all these great people around us as examples. Their lives tell us what faith means. So we, too, should run the race that is before us and never quit. We should remove from our lives anything that would slow us down and the sin that so often makes us fall.

Download audio fileThere are times in each of our lives when we feel like tossing in the towel – be it in your marriage, in your job, in your faith walk. You’re not alone in this. At some point, we all feel like quitting.

But each time God reminds me of the countless people, millions just like you, who need to hear about Jesus. So many struggling. So many being led astray in their worldly ways. So many yet to hear about the saving love of Christ.

Look, a race was never meant to be easy or comfortable. But that’s no excuse to quit. Look at those who’ve gone before you, those around you, those faith heroes you know who continue to run their race despite everything. Be inspired by them.
Oh, and remove from your life anything that’s slowing you down and the sin that’ll so often make you fall.Run your race. Don’t quit.
That’s God’s Word. Fresh … for you … today.
