1 Corinthians 1:30,31 It is God who has made you part of Christ Jesus. And Christ has become for us wisdom from God. He is the reason we are right with God and pure enough to be in his presence. Christ is the one who set us free from sin. So, as the Scriptures say, “Whoever boasts should boast only about the Lord.”

Download audio fileMight I ask you quietly, plainly, directly … where are you at in terms of your faith in Jesus? Are you completely anti, lukewarm perhaps, or on fire? Wherever you’re at, would you humour me as I share something with you today?
Me? I used to be completely anti. Man, I hated those Christians – so self-righteous, as though they had all the answers. I had money, I had reputation, I had success. I didn’t need a crutch to lean on.
Until my world fell apart. Until I stood on an 8th floor balcony, ready to jump. Until in that dangerous, dark, lonely place, Jesus met me. And the thing I’d like to share with you today is the enormity of God’s love for you.
Because, as He did with me, He wants so much to save you from your foibles, your failures – your … “sin” as He calls it – that He sent His only Son, Jesus, to die on a Cross to pay the price of your “sin” that His justice demands. And when you trust Him to do that, then here’s how it plays out …

The bottom line? Jesus changes everything. He takes a prideful man like me, standing on the edge of the abyss thirty years ago, and brings him along to you today to make this appeal to you.
Put your trust in Jesus … because He changes everything!
That’s God’s Word. Fresh … for you … today.
