Philippians 3:20,21 But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself. (ESV)

Download audio fileLife on this earth is far from perfect. We have great days and good days to be sure, but there are also bad days and indeed, downright awful days. They seem to come in seasons. And yet, we cling to this life here on earth, come what may.
Most people’s biggest fear is dying. And my observation is that that’s true of people whether they believe in Jesus or not. Whether they know that they’re going to spend eternity in His Presence or not. And that, when you think about it, is totally weird.
I mean if someone doesn’t know Jesus, if they don’t have that rock-solid certainty of spending eternity with Him, well for them, I totally get it. But if you, like me, have placed your trust in Jesus … you have to ask yourself, what exactly are we afraid of?
I guess it’s the fact that this life, even with all its ups and downs, is so familiar that we cling to it for, well, for dear life!

Or, as Jesus put it, we’re in this world but not of this world. We’re sojourners spending a short time here, waiting eagerly for Jesus to bring us home to spend eternity – forever and ever – in His glorious Presence.
Sure, I believe that God has more for me to do down here before He calls me home and the same is, no doubt, true of you. But let’s get one thing straight: we don’t belong here. So don’t get too attached to this life. There’s more, so much more, to come.
That’s God’s Word. Fresh … for you … today.

Yes, I do agree completely…
I do believe that YAHVAHSHUA is asking ELOHIM every day to spare more time for ppl to find the seed…
Just to turn their wicked ways…
Thank you ELOHIM the only GOD…
Since I started my journey as a child of ELOHIM and the bride/brother of YAHVAHSHUA the only earthly good times felt like good but had no greatness at all. The struggle this time feels great as I know it is time that I’m close to YAHVAHSHUA and He is standing in for us so the Almighty ELOHIM transforms us for HIS Kingdom… Glory to ELOHIM… YAHVAHSHUA Love and Peace to all.

I just lost my sister in July. I’m having such a hard time getting used to not having her here. She was my soul mate my best friend. I’m able to do things, thanks be to God for enabling me not to withdraw completely from this life, husband to care for, business to handle all the time, people to deal with in various ways, etc. This particular article gives me some peace. I believe it is God speaking to me through you because I have been asking Him to help me and give me peace. I needed to be reminded that this is not our home. It doesn’t stop the pain I have in my heart, but it reminds me to do my best for Jesus as long as I can. My sister was a believer. She loved the Lord. Thank you again for this series that helps me get a better grip on life here and now. Please pray for me and for my family and for my sister’s friends. She had such a tremendous impact on those she knew and met.
