november Prayer Focus

So Peter was kept in prison, but earnest prayer for him was made to God by the church. (Acts 12:5).

Well, we know how that turned out, don’t we? God sent an angel who miraculously released Peter from prison, hours before he was to be executed. If you read on (verses 12-17) those who were still praying were amazed when Peter appeared on their front doorstep.

So let’s pray together, audaciously believing that God is going to do such mighty things through our prayer this month that we too will be shocked and amazed by what He does.

That’s why your prayer this month is so vitally important! So thank you for praying with us.

And here are some specific prayer points to help you do just that:

• • • Pray fervently that the Lord will move mightily by His Spirit as we grow the reach and impact of the printed Fresh daily devotional across Africa, Australia and beyond. Give thanks that CCFm in Cape Town, South Africa has begun broadcasting the daily Fresh messages and printing the devotional for their listeners. May many more be blessed as they receive God’s Word.

    • Pray especially that the Lord would open the door for Christianityworks’ Bible teaching messages to be broadcast daily on one particular large and significant radio station. We are currently in talks with station management and when this door opens. hundreds of thousands more people will receive God’s Word daily. We are believing that the Lord will move powerfully through this initiative.

    • Give thanks for our Africa Director Joseph Kebbie whom God has anointed to become one of the most influential people in Christian media across the continent. The Lord has opened so many doors through him for the Gospel to be proclaimed. May the Lord bless and protect Joseph, his wife Genevieve and daughter Fadia. May He continue to do amazing things through this faithful man of God!

    • Pray for the finances of the ministry of Christianityworks without which we cannot do all that God has called us to do. November is seasonally a month when we receive fewer donations – so ask the Lord to meet the ministry’s every need in proclaiming Christ to the nations.  ..

    • Pray for our Bible teacher and ceo Berni Dymet as he travels from Australia to the UK this month to shoot Fresh TV and meet with several key radio broadcasters, that the Lord would make this a fruitful and blessed trip. Play especially for the TV shoot where some 210 daily episodes (7 months’ worth) will be recorded in just a few days – may the Lord bless this time for His glory.

    • And as always please, continue to pray the prayer of Jabez (1 Chronicles 4:10) again and again over Christianityworks …

      Oh Lord, that you would bless us indeed … with Your supernatural blessings, far beyond our expectations and natural abilities.
      
      That you would enlarge our territory … giving us more capacity, reach and impact, that more lives would be saved + transformed.
      
      That your mighty hand would be with us … so we would be wholly dependent on you, on your touch of greatness, not on ourselves.
      That you would keep us from evil that we would cause no pain … so that in holiness + love in all that we do, the name of Jesus would be glorified.
