Download audio fileSo many people are opting out of church these days, that the experts are writing textbooks about them. Seriously! And the problem with that, is that, spiritually and emotionally, so many of God’s people feel alone in their faith.
Insecurity is a terrible thing. That feeling that your life isn’t worth all that much; that compared to everybody else, you’re not having all that much of an impact. And that low sense of worth can make you feel terribly alone.
But you and I weren’t made to be alone. We were made to be part of a family, part of a community, part of the body of Christ. And yet so many people miss out on family and community and teamwork. There are many people, right here and now, today, who feel insecure, because they’re alone.
But here’s the thing: God’s plan is not for you to be alone. The moment you accept Jesus into your life, you become one of God’s children, part of His family.

If you believe in Jesus, then you are a child of God and you’re a member of His family. Now, I know that the whole church thing can be a pain in the neck sometimes. Perhaps that’s why so many people opt out and end up feeling all alone.
Don’t be that person. Come on, get involved. Get in there and be part of God’s family. Contribute your unique gifts and abilities to the work of winning souls and building God’s Kingdom. You’ll be amazed!
